Hello and welcome to the Rockpedia – an independent, bold, and ambitious online project created by 22-year-old Romanian freelance writer Victor Rouă (longtime author on The Dockyards and the Steem blockchain) with the main objective of sharing as much information as possible on rock music, its representative artists and bands throughout history as well as the immense worldwide social impact that it was able to generate along the passing of time.

Consequently, this website was designed so as to enable people who share common interests in rock music (along with its many sub-genres) to come together more easily and listen to some good quality tunes, while reflecting on the memories, feelings, and passions that the likes of The Doors, The Beatles, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Deep Purple, Neil Young, or The Who (just to name a few) aroused in their lives.
As Rockpedia is an independent project, it goes without saying that in both the near and far future it will undergo many phases of continuous development, yet the pivotal goals for it will always be to connect people through the power of music and enable them to learn and grow more on a musical standpoint based on the great legacy of the creations of renowned rock musicians. In this respect, it is an utmost ambition and heartfelt desire of the hereby author to be able to run an online rock radio station on this domain in the following years, if both the financial, human, and time-based resources will allow as such.
