Let’s Get Rocked! – My Podcast

Let’s Get Rocked! is the name of my independent rock music-themed podcast which I initially started as a university project for Radio USV, the student radio station of Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (USV for short), situated in my hometown, Suceava, Romania, where I had been studying between 2020 and 2026 (on BSc, MA, and a little bit of PhD level as well).

The podcast initially aired on the online radio waves of Radio USV for a relatively brief period of time in 2021. In late 2021, after I left Radio USV, I continued to be the host of this podcast and I uploaded new interview episodes with both Romanian and international musicians on my YouTube channel. So far, I was very fortunate to have the following notable guests on my podcast:

• David Pistrui, the frontman of alternative rock band Terminal White, a great and charismatic rock musician of Romanian descent from the United States;
• Doug Hodges, a great bassist from the United States (who worked with the legendary Ray Manzarek of The Doors on the keyboardist’s solo record Carmina Burana released in 1983);
• Folkal Point, a great folk rock band from the United Kingdom;
• Călin Pop, the frontman of Romanian classic rock band Celelalte Cuvinte;
• Erlend Krauser, guitarist and violinist in the Romanian rock band Transsylvania Phoenix between 1976–1978 and once more briefly in 1988;
• Josef ‘Ioji’ Kappl, bassist, vocalist, violinist, blockflöte/recorder in the Romanian rock band Transsylvania Phoenix for various periods of time (1971–1978, 1987–1989, 1991, 1994–1998, 2001–2008)
• Hanno Höfer, the frontman of the Romanian rhythm & blues, ethno blues, blues rock, and country band Nightlosers;
• The Amsterdams, Romanian alternative rock band;
• White Walls, Romanian progressive metal band.
