The Guess Who are a great Canadian classic rock band which was formed in 1958 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They achieved popularity many years later between 1969 and 1972 with a string of hits such as American Woman, These Eyes, No Time, No Sugar Tonight, Laughing, or Share the Land. They achieved popularity in both their native Canada as well as in the United States of America. They were the most successful rock band from Canada during the late 1960s and early 1970s, becoming the first Canadian rock superstars. Their most successful studio album was American Woman which was released in 1970 and became an instant success in both the Canadian and American charts, peaking at number 1 in Canada and at number 9 in the US. The band was initially musically active between 1958 and 1975. In 1975, they had officially disbanded, but they reunited on several occasions throughout the passage of time, more specifically in 1979 and 1983. They resumed performing together between 1999 and 2003 and then once more since 2025 onwards. Before being known as the Guess Who, the Canadian group were known under the following alternative names: Al & the Silvertones (between 1958 and 1962), Chad Allan & the Reflections (briefly between 1962 and 1963), Chad Allan & the Expressions (relatively briefly between 1963 and 1965), Guess Who? (briefly between 1965 and 1966), and the Guess Who? (relatively briefly between 1966 and 1969). Their overall sound is a mixture of hard rock, psychedelic rock, blues rock, and garage rock.

The band initially started as a garage rock group but their most successful body of work pertain to the pop rock and psychedelic rock sub-genres of rock music, under the leadership of their leader, keyboardist Burton Cummings. Throughout the passage of time, the Guess Who released a total number of 15 studio albums as follows (listed in the chronological order of their release):
